Specifications include, but are not limited to: The environmental consultant will be required to provide a variety of environmental consulting services work, though it is likely that individual tasks will be limited in scope. It is expected that in all instances, the consultant will be required to consult with County staff to identify specific needs and discuss options for accomplishing those needs. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Consult with County staff to identify specific needs and discuss options for accomplishing those needs. • Perform site visits to accomplish tasks including, but not limited to: presence/absence of wetlands and wetland delineation, determination of bank-full width, ordinary high water determination, Stream Function Assessment Method (SFAM) office & field work, regulatory compliance monitoring & reporting, fish-salvage, vegetation analysis and survival, archaeological and historical studies, river hydraulics and scour evaluation and stream stability evaluations. • Compile various reports including, but not limited to: wetland determination, ordinary high water determination, Joint Permit Applications, Stream Function Assessment Method (SFAM), regulatory compliance, fish passage documentation, fish-salvage, archaeological and historical studies, river hydraulics and scour analysis calculations, no-rise floodplain analysis, stream stability, County & City land-use, & other environmental technical reports. • Acquire permits from and/or verify permitting exemptions with local, state and federal agencies and act as a liaison on behalf of Clackamas County in regulatory-based meetings & discussions. • Provide assistance and guidance with respect to cultural resource regulations. Successful consultants will be working with a diverse team including engineers, technicians, maintenance and road maintenance personnel.
