No skid steers, trucks or ATV/UTV allowed in the FEN area. C. HAND cut and herbicide treat, pile, and burn: 1. All stems of undesirable trees on the East half of project site including a. Buckthorn b. Honeysuckle c. Boxelder d. Elm e. Ash f. Ironwood g. Dogwood h. Black Locust i. Silver Maple j. Black Cherry k. Cottonwood l. Prickly Ash 2. All stems of undesirable trees on the West half of project site including a. Buckthorn b. Honeysuckle c. Boxelder d. Elm e. Ash f. Ironwood g. Dogwood h. Black Locust i. Silver Maple j. Black Cherry k. Cottonwood l. Prickly Ash 3. Cut and herbicide treat buckthorn and honeysuckle 4. Cut, pile, and burn all other woody stems. 5. All buckthorn or honeysuckle taller than 2 feet 6. All multiflora, rose, or barberry taller than 1 foot 7. All oriental bittersweet & grape vines ¼ inch diameter and larger and treat stem with herbicide 8. All stumps to be cut within 0.5 ft of the ground 9. Slash to be cut, piled, and burned on upland ground (not within the wetland). C. Fences, roads, access routes, fields: 1. No trees are to be girdled and left standing to fall later on fields, fences, roads, access routes, or private property 2. Trees must be felled and cleared from fields, fences, roads, access routes or private property unless otherwise directed from DNR. 3. Fences damaged by felling to be repaired by contractor as directed by Project Supervisor.
