Specifications include, but are not limited to: (A) Perform all custodial and maintenance task as specified in the Custodial and Maintenance Task Frequency Matrix. All cleaning work and treatment shall be accomplished in accordance with the manufacturer’s direction and or listed specifications and industry standard applicable to the Professional Cleaning and Restoration Industry 1. Custodial and Maintenance Task Frequency Matrix – the Contractor shall use the chart as a guideline for the frequency and duration of each maintenance task. 2. Within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, the Contractor shall thoroughly clean all interior tiled areas. Strip, seal, and wax of all tile floors shall be schedule and coordinated with the engineer. 3. The Contractor shall keep the Engineer informed of all daily operations and progress. (B) Emergency Cleaning. Upon notification by the Engineer, the Contract shall respond within four (4) hours during off hours and two (2) hours during regular working hours. The Contractor shall perform emergency cleaning due to broken or leaking pipes, sinks, or other occurrences requiring immediate attention to restore an area to its normal cleanliness. The Contractor shall be paid by Miscellaneous Bid Item of the Proposal Schedule. 1. A Notice to Proceed letter shall be issued by the Engineer prior for the Contractor to perform any miscellaneous work. (C) Reporting of Hazardous Conditions to the Engineer 1. Injuries 2. Illness 3. Damage to government property
