Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposals is being issued to solicit proposals from qualified respondents willing to provide services to removal and disposal of one (1) 3,500- gallon polyurethane above ground storage tank, and one (1) 4,000-gallon polyurethane above ground storage tank. The two tanks currently hold around 840- gallons of Purate, and 1,270-gallons of Sulfuric Acid. Safety Data Sheets will be provided as an attachment in this RFP.; The service involves the assisting of City of Groton - Department of Utilities in the removal and disposal of liquid chemicals Sulfuric Acid and Purate and their associated 3,500-gallon and 4,000-gallon polyurethane above ground storage tanks and associated piping. The services are to include, but not be limited to: • Providing a permitted disposal facility • Properly licensed labor and CDL required drug and alcohol testing programs • Tools, equipment and materials required to safely perform tasks • Transportation vehicles properly licensed and inspected • Administration, management, and maintenance support to perform the services as specified in these documents.
