Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Point of Sale (POS) component of the system solution must include the following feature capabilities: a. Data integration with SIS systems (Banner). b. Data integration with the college’s merchant credit card processing system now and any future such systems, currently Tsys Payment Solutions (refer to Attachment 3 for payment flow overview) c. Include a disaster recovery program to ensure service continuity. d. Custom access and permission settings. e. PCI-DSS Compliant 2. The system must be able to save and retrieve an incomplete transaction upon user demand. 3. The system must provide fast path or shortcut key capabilities. 4. The system must be flexible to allow easy updating/modification of data tables for the purpose of future changes to system programs such as fee tables and tax rates. 5. The system must be able to create unique account number for each student and employee that shall be used, tracked and recorded. The account numbers must not be duplicated. Further, the system should have a mechanism to alert duplication for a person who is both a student and an employee. The system must have a mechanism to electronically deactivate accounts in real time by authorized administrative users. 6. The system must track and record names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, account numbers, and any other assigned credential numbers. The system must be able to search for a customer (student/employee) based on key information known about the customer.
