Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this contract is to perform a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazus v.4.2 Flood Level 2 Analysis analyzing riverine and coastal flooding to better understand flood risks across the City and County of Honolulu (City). The City is seeking to expand their understanding of flood-risk hazards and has been developing an updated building structure inventory dataset. The Contractor will complete a Hazus v.4.2 Flood Level 2 Analysis using the updated building structure inventory dataset and other relevant data to assess the potential economic loss and social disruption created by flooding events. Datasets on the City’s building structure inventory, flood-related Repetitive Loss (RL) and Severe Repetitive Loss (SRL) areas, National Weather Service identified flood threat areas, and historic flood-prone areas will be provided by the City to the Contractor. For other datasets required to perform the Hazus v.4.2 Flood Level 2 Analysis, the Contractor is expected to incorporate the latest and best available data including current demographic, flood mapping, and high-resolution elevation data.
