Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Provide equipment and Operators, locally available for fast 'on-call' or scheduled use by the City. B. Not refuse or deny service. C. Ensure that operators or drivers are escorted by City staff. D. follow the scheduling steps: 1. Coordinate the schedule of services with the City Department Representative. 2. Provide services as scheduled and agreed upon with the City Department Representative. a. The City Department Representative shall be able to request services to begin up to 2 (two) calendar days after receipt of the request. b. Notify the City Department Representative at least 24 hours ahead of the scheduled start time If there are any delays i. Ensure the City Department Representative agrees and approves any delays. 3. Ensure that the Short Notice scheduling is applied ONLY when the City Department Representative requests service within one day of the request. a. Confirm the short notice service request within 2 (two) hours of notification and be on site to perform service within 2 calendar days of receipt of the call. b. Be able to charge a one-time fee for the Short Notice scheduled project as allowed in the Price proposal. 4. Have service available throughout, Monday through Friday, weekends, and holidays. At the City's option, exchange crane rentals periodically, including daily, when operational circumstances dictate.
