Specifications include, but are not limited to: Once a contract is awarded to a contractor, services shall begin immediately once the pest management plan is approved by the Facilities division, as outlined herein and the schedule listed above or otherwise agreed upon in writing by City and contractor: 1. Treatment of all common areas with importance placed on cracks and crevices. 2. Treatment of all break areas, offices, and living areas, sleeping areas, kitchen areas, basement areas, apparatus bay areas and storage areas at all assigned locations. 3. Treatment around exterior of each building’s openings (doors and windows) on the firstfloor only and the foundation. Subsequent monthly treatments shall consist of: 1. Treatment of any problem areas. 2. Treatment of all common areas. 3. Spot treatments of all break areas, offices, living areas, and fire apparatus bay areas, sleeping areas, kitchen areas, basement areas, and storage areas. 4. Inspect and treat exterior of buildings, first floor only and the foundation.
