Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Utah Division of Air Quality recently received funding from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to enhance the monitoring of PM2.5 and PM10 in underserved communities by integrating low-cost particle measurements with community partnerships. UDAQ would like to purchase low-cost PM2.5 and PM10 sensors manufactured by Tellus that allow continuous measurement of PM2.5 and PM10. The sensors will supplement existing sensors, and the collected data will be added to existing map visualizations and validated using existing proprietary algorithms. The performance and accuracy of these sensors, and PM map estimates has been well established for the Salt Lake Valley.
