Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The existing compact mobile shelving is Spacesaver parts and materials and was installed by Spacesaver. Part of each phase has a 5-year preventative maintenance program that is performed by Spacesaver Specialist, Inc. Efficient current and future utilization of existing Spacesaver compact mobile shelving requires knowledgeable trained techs that have knowledge of internal parts maintenance schedules and maintenance needs both mechanical and electrical parts specific to Spacesaver system. The Archives Division used a cooperative contract (NJPA Contract #052910-KII) to purchase SpaceSaver High Density Storage System. The Project has 4 phases planned, phase 1 was completed in 2014, phase 2 completed in 2015 and phase 3 completed in 2020. The SpaceSaver High Density Storage System required regular Preventative Maintenance (PM). The first 5 years of each phase the PM is included in the materials and installation contract. After the 5 years the PM is a separate agreement for each phase. Because this equipment is used regularly by the Archives Division and a big investment a PM program (2 times per year) keeps the SpaceSaver High Density Storage System operating efficiently.
