Associated excavation, backfill and grading related to demolition and abatement scope B. Other City of Salem Demolition/Abatement Needs - Other Projects TBD a. City of Salem may utilize this pre-qualified list of Demolition/Abatement contractors for other potential projects between 2023-2027. To accomplish the objectives of City of Salem (the “City”) of efficient and effective utilization of resources, the City is conducting a mandatory prequalification process (ORS 279C.430) to procure demolition/abatement contractor construction services for the public works building 2 demolition/abatement project. The prequalification process consists of the following basic steps: 1. City advertises RFQ. 2. Eligible bona fide general contractors respond with Statement(s) of Qualifications based on solicitation (“Participating Contractors”). 3. City evaluation team grades all applicants. 4. Successful general contractors are named and formally notified of prequalification (“Bidders”). 5. Prequalified Bidders will be invited to participate in the formal public lump-sum construction contract bid process described in this RFQ.
