Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. New paint, two (2) coats, exterior paint to be applied to shelter and adjacent surfaces to include benches and trash receptacles. 2. All surfaces that are not to be painted shall be properly protected from painting using industry standard practices. 3. Any surfaces that are accidentally painted or damaged by the Awarded Bidder shall be repaired or replaced by the Awarded Bidder at no cost to the City. 4. Surface preparation to include power washing, including the use of spot brush to ensure a clean, paintable surface. There shall be no exception to this requirement. 5. The Awarded Bidder will coordinate a weekly work schedule with the Transit Department. Transit’s Building Maintenance Manager will coordinate with the Awarded Bidder and ABQ RIDE Maintenance Operations. Work schedules shall be for regular daytime working hours. 6. The Awarded Bidder shall provide a weekly written list of completed shelters from the previous week to the Building Maintenance Manager. The Transit Department will inspect each shelter to ensure the work was completed as per the specifications. The Transit Department will either accept the project as complete and satisfactory, or will provide a written list of items to be corrected or needs to be completed. All corrections will be completed before releasing final payment. 7. A progressive progress schedule of shelters completed and planned to be completed shall be implemented by the Awarded Bidder and the City that includes a project timeline of estimated completion. Transit Department shall receive both a hard and electronic copy and provide written approval.
