Specifications include, but are not limited to: NMSU Grants request proposals from qualified Childcare provider(s) to operate an existing childcare center located on the New Mexico State University Grants Campus. A qualified provider must meet all applicable requirements for a 10,000 sq. ft. childcare facility. Child development services are to include infants and children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 12 years. The facility will operate from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. In addition, the operator will make the facility available to faculty and students of NMSU Grants as an observation and practicum site for students pursing a degree in Early Childhood Education. The child care services offered by the Lessee will target NMSU Grants students, faculty, and staff as priority clients. Lessee will attempt to fill seventy-five percent (75%) of available spaces with infants and children of NMSU Grants students, faculty, and staff. If all allotted spaces are not filled within the scheduled registration period for NMSU Grants, then the remaining spaces can be made available to other clients of Lessee.
