Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will conduct bi-annual testing, inspection, and sensitivity testing of the chemical suppression systems in Dakota County. The contractor will be providing labor and material services for these inspections/tests. Inspections Shall Include: • Compliance – All services performed, including optional work, will comply with NFPA, manufacturer recommendations, and any other applicable codes and regulations. • Ventilation Interlocks – Verify fans shut down with duct detector activation. • Ventilation Controls – Verify smoke purge systems function properly. • Sprinkler Flow and Supervisory Switches – Verify proper operation. • Elevator Call – Verify elevator responds correctly to fire programming.
