Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected Consultant will be responsible for items under “Consultant Responsibilities” below. Consultant Responsibilities: • Collect topographic survey to be utilized for construction documents, as needed. • Support the County’s project scoping process by leading Project Management Team (PMT) meetings with County Parks Staff during preliminary design which will target having scoping narrowed down by 60%. This may look like providing sketches, schematic concepts, high-level cost estimates, visualizations, etc. on a monthly basis until project scoping is determined. • Provide 60%, 90%, and final submittals, including plans, specifications, and respective cost estimates, reflective of the finalized project scope components. • Recommend play equipment and placement applicable to target demographic based on stakeholder feedback. • Utility coordination • Support County through play equipment RFQ process (see below) • Support Vendor through play equipment ordering and installation process (see below) • Support County through bidding and construction administration for the architectural/site work (see below) which may include, but not be limited to: during bid advertisement and construction, if plan sheets need to be revised as part of an addendum or Change Order, the Consultant shall be responsible to revise plan sheets. The consultant may also be responsible to support the County in their responses to Contractors Request for Information (RFIs) and/or to review shop drawings.
