Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The successful bidder shall furnish all alignment and construction staking and shall employ a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to supervise and direct this work. The City of Garland reserves the right to check progress and accuracy of same at any time during the life of the contract. 2. All material tests of concrete, asphalt, subgrade, lime content, cement content, densities or any other material that is required to complete the project shall be furnished and paid for by the City of Garland, and shall be made in accordance with the latest methods of the American Society for Testing and Materials. All tests shall be performed in accordance with Special Conditions Paragraph 17. Contractor is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the required testing with the City’s Material Testing Laboratory. The Contractor shall provide access and cooperate with Material Testing Laboratory personnel in performing required material tests.
