Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pinal County is seeking a solution to track ballots and ballot boxes during election cycles. GPS SYSTEM GENERAL GPS devices and GPS system software solutions may be offered as a complete or stand-alone system. All devices and software presented in response to this solicitation shall currently be in active and continuous production. They must represent model(s) or type(s) that are presently operational within an existing user environment, demonstrating their real-world functionality. These offerings shall possess the capability to fulfill or exceed these specifications and requirements set forth herein. GPS devices and GPS tracking padlocks will be inserted, temporarily affixed to the exterior, and to lock various containers utilized in the elections process. GPS DEVICES Ensure all GPS devices shall have a minimum IP67 rating for water and impact resistance and be of solid-state design with impervious housing that will operate properly under the environmental conditions encountered including, but not limited to: adverse temperature, dust and dirt, and varying degrees of shock and vibration. GPS devices shall be of a tamper-proof design to mitigate unauthorized access, alteration, or interference with the system’s functionality, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the monitoring process. GPS devices to have real-time intrusion detection mechanisms to promptly detect, respond, and notify of any tampering attempts or unauthorized manipulation. The positional accuracy of the GPS devices shall attain a geospatial precision level within a radius of 528 ft. (equivalent to 1/10th of a mile), or better, with a minimum confidence level of 95%. The GPS devices shall feature a functionality for authorized users the capability to determine the real-time geographical coordinates of any active tracker(s) in service to effectively monitor the movement and positioning of trackers as they navigate various geographic regions, facilitating informed decision-making and operational efficiency. The system shall incorporate advanced communication devices with the capability to both receive and transmit data within the geographical area encompassing Pinal County, with a strong preference for achieving statewide coverage. The communication infrastructure shall demonstrate resilience and reliability, consistently facilitating seamless data exchange even in challenging terrain conditions, including mountainous regions and areas with limited cellular network coverage, etc.
