Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work to be done under this Contract consists of the following: Tree Removal 1. Contractor shall remove a total of four 32-to-48-inch diameter trees as specified. Trees will be marked by the ODOT maintenance crew prior to work. The contractor shall fall and trim all trees. 2. All felled trees and chips/debris created by the tops, limbs, brush, and other slash shall be removed, loaded, transported and disposed of by the contractor. 3. All traffic control requirements shall be verified with the city of Jordan Valley. 4. All stumps from cut trees must be removed. If grinding is elected all stumps must be ground down a depth of 8 inches and the wells backfilled. An herbicide (Roundup or approved equal) shall be applied to prevent offshoots from growing. 5. All of the trees are located within state owned property. All precaution must be taken to not damage any property including the fences and houses adjacent to the property. 6. The contractor must cut and fall trees in a way that does not damage or disturb electrical or utility lines or guardrail on the highway. Contractor will assume liability for damaging all private property, guardrail, or power lines, or any problems caused by felling of trees or by the Contractor’s equipment. 7. Contractor may need to contact adjoining properties for access.
