Specifications include, but are not limited to: Software and Computer Requirements Software must be windows based (Windows 10 or later preferred). Front end application must run with GUI (Graphical user Interface). Software must have full control of the ICP-OES system as well as powerful tool to analyze and reprocess data. The City of Scottsdale IT department will provide a computer that meets or exceeds proposer’s specifications. The computer will be networked in a LAN/WAN environment using 10/100BaseT, ethernet switches, and link via TCP/IP protocol. Proposers shall provide detailed information regarding preferred computer specifications necessary to operate ICP-OES system. Proposers shall provide cables, network cards, and any other accessories necessary to interface ICP-OES system with the computer. The successful Contractor shall work with City’s IT staff to ensure the interface is working properly. Software Demonstration Proposers shall provide a software demonstration that shall not exceed 90-minute time limit. Product Software demonstrations will be conducted during the evaluation phase of this Project and will be held via MS Teams. The City is interested in the following aspects of the software: • Data reprocessing How would analyst reprocess an existing data set that needs to be modified, e.g., move background points, change integration area, alter concentration of the calibration standard or QC checks? Is the original data preserved? • Quantitative analysis Can analyst obtain quantitative data from an existing data set for an element that was not part of the method, but was present in the calibration standards? For example, calibration standards contain Al and Fe, but the method was only set up for Fe. How would analyst go about getting quantitative data for Al from an existing data set? • Semi-quantitative analysis Can analyst obtain semi-quantitative data from an existing data set for an element that was not part of the method and was not present in the calibration standards? For example, calibration standards contain Al and Fe. How would analyst go about getting semi-quantitative data for elements other than Al and Fe from an existing data set? • Any other aspects of the software that the proposer would like to highlight.
