Specifications include, but are not limited to: construct a new facility located in the MMRC Industrial Park in Morehead, Kentucky, to be established as the Gateway Regional Workforce Training and Learning Center. The preliminary vision for the proposed facility is a metal/vinyl siding building that is approximately 6,000 – 7,000 square feet, depending on need and recommended design specifications (materials and size may be adjusted based on professional design recommendations). The facility will include the following: 1) One large training room area, approximately 4,000 square feet, with full video and teleconferencing capabilities; 2) One small meeting room area with full video and teleconferencing capabilities; 3) Approximately five (5) individual standard offices; 4) Other shared ancillary areas such as a kitchen, breakroom, restrooms, storage rooms, server room, etc.; 5) Utilities and accommodations that meet the needs of the Gateway Regional Workforce Training and Learning Center.
