Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall pay the costs of all curatorial development expenses, including honorariums, travel expenses, accommodation, and hosting for the guest curators. Contractor shall pay the costs of all artists and other Triennial and Festival of the Pacific related Art Summit contributors honorariums, travel expenses, accommodation, and hosting. Contractor shall pay the costs and execute administrative tasks related to the development and production of Art Summit, triennial programming and HT25 artworks at Capitol Modern, the Hawai‘i State Art Museum (“Capitol Modern”) including the following unless otherwise agreed in writing: Loan permission, fees, and permits relating to the borrowing of artworks; Fees and honoraria associated with film-screenings, panel discussions, lectures, prerecorded video content, and public programming. Artwork production pertaining to any commissions or fabrication costs; Artists’ honoraria including travel expenses and artist accommodations for visiting artists to undertake research visits to Hawai‘i; Create a timetable with artists about how and when they can engage with the collections and create an install schedule and access plan to Capitol Modern inconsultation with the Capitol Modern team; Contractor shall pay for and conduct administrative tasks related to producing education programs, materials and interpretive didactics including: Develop public programming content and access to program participants (including artists, scholars, guest speakers) for any special performances, discursive events, films, and youth activities in tandem with the Capitol Modern learning and interpretation staff; Design and oversee production of printed collateral related to the Hawai’i Triennial exhibition for distribution (i.e. catalog, guidebook, site map, All-Access pass); Write, edit, and design all exhibition didactics (wall labels, curatorial text) in consultation with any style guidelines provided by Capitol Modern; Promote the Hawai’i Triennial and Capitol Modern’s partnership on social media, enewsletter, press releases and printed collateral; All public references of Capitol Modern’s name or use of Capitol Modern’s logo in printed and digital material will be approved by Capitol Modern in advance of public distribution.
