Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The City of Scottsdale is initiating this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified Offeror/Bidders to provide traffic signal cabinets and video detection systems that detect vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and provides vehicle presence, traffic flow data, event alarms for real-time traffic control and management system. 2. The project locations are grouped into two types: Type A. Arterial Intersections and Type B. Freeway Interchanges. The city may select different detection systems or cabinets for different Types based on the evaluation and what is in the best interest of the City. 3. The selected Offeror/Bidder will provide detection equipment, signal cabinets and all necessary accessories that meet the minimum system requirements defined in this RFP. Additionally, the vendor shall provide all necessary software and hardware for a fully operational detection system and necessary to view the detection data collected as well as any additional traffic statistics the equipment provides such as counts, classification and speed, at each of the project intersections, as described in the System Requirements Checklist below and the SPECIFICATIONS, attached. 4. The Offeror/Bidder shall be responsible for providing onsite technical support to the city or city’s contractor throughout the detection system installation. It is vendor’s responsibility to review each project intersection and provide recommendations for the locations, type, and quantity of detection system elements to provide vehicle, advance detection, bike presence detection and counts for all intersection approaches. After review and confirmation of the detection recommendations by the City, the vendor shall furnish all the necessary detection equipment and associated materia
