Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The work includes the installation of approximately 2,000 linear feet of new gravity storm drain pipe, installation of precast catch basins and drain manholes, low-impact development (LID) green infrastructure, pedestrian ADA ramp reconstruction, partial road reconstruction on Western Promenade, mill and overlay on Vaughan Street and Danforth Street, and associated construction for street trench repair, traffic control during construction and other Incidental work including; support of existing underground utilities including water, natural gas, electrical and telecommunications utilities during excavations. 2. The work also includes (under separate contract with the Portland Water District) water main replacement including 900 linear feet of water main and associated construction as indicated on the plans and specifications including maintenance of temporary water service during construction; Relocation /reconnection of existing water service laterals which may conflict with work. Refer to Appendix C for Portland Water District specifications. 3. The City and Portland Water District will share costs for Work Zone Traffic Control, Erosion and Sedimentation Control, and Mobilization. These three (3) items are only included in the City bid form but should include costs for both City and PWD projects. 4. The work will generally be located along the Western Promenade and at the intersection of Vaughan Street and Danforth Street.
