Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall accept and dispose of construction, demolition, yard, road building, land clearing, and other acceptable waste material delivered by City to Contractor’s landfill site located at __________________________. Contractor’s landfill that is utilized hereunder is a Class VI landfill and Contractor and its operations at such site shall conform to and be governed by: (1) the requirements for a Class VI landfill as set forth in the Utah Solid Waste Permitting and Management Rules (R315-301 through 320) of the Utah Administrative Code and the Utah Solid and Hazardous Waste Act; (2) clarifications and guidance regarding such waste management rules obtained from the Utah Department of Environmental Quality or its Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste; and (3) the terms of Contractor’s permit to operate such landfill, all of which shall be referred to hereinafter as the “Waste Management Act and Rules”. Contractor shall accept all wastes approved for receipt at its landfill pursuant to the Waste Management Act and Rules, and shall not accept, and City shall not deliver, those wastes that are prohibited from receipt at its landfill pursuant to the Waste Management Act and Rules. B. Prohibited wastes shall be segregated and sent back with City’s truck or the entire load may be deemed unacceptable and rejected by Contractor. For rejected loads, a “Rejected Waste Shipment Form” shall be completed by Contractor’s facility personnel and provided to the Salt Lake Valley Health Department. C. City shall deliver its waste to Contractor’s landfill site. Upon arrival of City’s delivery vehicle at the landfill, Contractor’s landfill personnel shall clearly direct City’s driver to the appropriate place to unload. City shall unload each delivery at the place directed by Contractor’s personnel. D. Deliveries of waste shall be made during Contractor’s normal business hours for Contractor’s landfill site.
