Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. At this time, the Camp HOPE program does not have the capacity to provide 100% of staff needed to fully operate a weeklong camp, so a venue without staff would not be feasible. We also cannot send our clients to a traditional existing summer camp program fully staffed through the camp, because they would not provide the Camp HOPE curriculum or have the necessary training in trauma. The District Attorney’s Office is also unable to modify the time frame significantly. These campsites and the Camp HOPE program can only operate during a limited summer camp schedule. The identified summer weeks’ timeframes are chosen for the summer camp schedule in order to accommodate when clients are most available.
