Specifications include, but are not limited to: iven that New Jersey Transit (NJ TRANSIT) is issuing an Expression of Interest (EOI) to identify qualified contractors that have the capability and experience to perform vehicle level overhauls of thirty-six (36) ALP-46A electric locomotives. Respondents should have experience with the North American locomotive market, experience in overhauling overhead catenary-powered electric locomotives and are on the FTA’s list of eligible Transit Vehicle Manufacturers (TVM) with experience in meeting any and all applicable Federal Rail Administration (FRA), American Association of Railroads (AAR), and American Public Transportation Association (APTA) requirements and standards. Contractors that have met the minimum requirements of this Expression of Interest (EOI) may be placed on a short list to be invited to participate in a future solicitation for this project.
