Specifications include, but are not limited to: The college is seeking specific values in solar PV production to be installed on the roof of the Commons Building (COM); Meter (15558871) Attachment B. See attachments for available roof space for solar array on building. The College is looking for long term energy solutions. The intent is to maximize the value via a design/build approach where the bidder will provide the design and engineering specs based specific PV solar sizes. This system will tie into the respective building’s electrical system with the intent of entering a Parallel Generation agreement with Evergy. Installations of this project will begin after a JCCC Purchase order is issued. NOTE - NABCEP certification is required. The building structural analysis for solar PV systems has the allowance for 7psf load. Conduit currently exists from the roof to the electric panel and meter from a previous decommissioned project, conduit size is 2.5”. If current equipment is acceptable, it may be reused.
