Specifications include, but are not limited to: This contract will supply labor, rigging, tooling, LES approved parts, consumables and travel related expenses to perform a minor overhaul of a Joy WBF – 74XHD compressor located in Lincoln Nebraska. This compressor operates at 270 ‘ f. Bid should list a line item for labor, parts, mobilization and demobilization charges. There is no forklift on site. Contractor will need to supply a lift if required. The bid should include all parts required to complete this work. Parts list should be supplied in advance for LES approval. All overhaul records should be included in the final inspection report. Walk down LOTO with LES. Drain fluids as necessary with LES Staff. LES will supply barrels. Remove crankcase covers and inspect for cracks visually and with dye penetrant if indications are found, debris, or any other abnormality. Take as found clearances, rod run outs, and head end clearances and record. Update packing to approved low emission compressor rod packing. Remove outboard heads, loosen crosshead jam nut, and remove compressor rod and piston assemblies. Remove all 32 compressor valves, disassemble, clean, and rebuild valves. Measure compressor rods, pistons, liners, and record. Replace main bearings and crank pin bearings. Install new piston rings and install back into cylinders. Check and adjust rod run outs and shoe clearances. Install outboard heads and torque. Install all compressor valves, chairs, and caps. Torque caps. Fill unit with fluids and test run unit for 4 hours while monitoring for any leaks or abnormal noises. Site access will be 7:30 – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Site work will comply with all OSHA rules and regulations. Hard hats and safety glasses are always required on site.
