Specifications include, but are not limited to: the first stage in a multiple-stage procurement process to pre-qualify developers for a Landfill Gas (LFG) to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) project. The District intends to enter into a long-term contract with a single developer who will plan, permit, construct, operate, and maintain an LFG to RNG facility (the “Project”) to replace the current power generation project at the Davis Landfill located in Layton, Utah. The developer will also have the responsibility to market and sell RNG and associated environmental attributes generated by the Project. Participation in other stages of the multiple-stage procurement process will be limited to developers qualified through this RFSOQ.
