Specifications include, but are not limited to: Heat Trace Enclosure Installation - wo (2) owner-furnished heat trace monitoring and control enclosures will be delivered to the site. Each 3’x5’x1’ enclosure will be floor-mounted with each placed in one of the site Combustion Turbine ‘CT Skid’ Buildings. The contractor will be responsible for assisting with the enclosure positioning and raceway interfaces to the underfloor vault. The Contractor should expect 12 to 16 man-hours to facilitate enclosure installation. Skid Building Wiring - Multiple power circuits from nearby 120V distribution panels that currently feed existing heat trace will be re-routed through the new control enclosures. One enclosure will control and monitor heat trace for two turbines at TBGS (Unit 2 & Unit 3) and will require 12 circuits to be routed through the panel. The second enclosure (for Unit 4) will require six. Reuse of existing cabling may be allowed as permitted by field supervision. In addition, a new circuit for each enclosure to power the heat trace controllers will be required. Cable raceways interfacing the enclosures will route through an underfloor vault. The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining certifications for confined space entry as well as provide associated sensing and safety equipment required for entry. Panelboard schedules and enclosure schematics will be provided on site. The Contractor should expect 20 to 40 man-hours to complete wiring to the enclosures. Field Wiring - Most of the existing heat trace circuits for the three turbine auxiliary systems will be terminated in new junction box enclosures. Existing junction box enclosures will be removed. The contractor shall supply and install two (2) junction boxes with Class I, Division 2 rating per the NEC for each of the three Units (six total). The contractor will install new power cabling between heat trace control enclosures and the field junction boxes where needed. Contractor shall label all new cable consistent with corresponding drawings. For each Unit, 17 heat trace loads will be reconnected using the new junction boxes. Existing conduit may be reused for most heat trace power wiring to junction boxes as permitted by field supervision. Where additional fittings are required, the contractor shall install on a time and material basis. Turbine package and field schematics will be provided on site. The Contractor should expect to 240 man-hours to complete field wiring and termination.
