Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Act in a guard capacity which means the performance of safekeeping, observation, and reporting functions by a uniformed employee for the person’s employer; b. Become familiar with fire and bomb threat procedures for the STATE. The STATE shall provide these procedures to the CONTRACTOR; c. Deter unauthorized entrance or activities on the Property and remain on the Property grounds during hours of patrol in an area that is visible to the public; d. Prevent the entry of and remove unauthorized loiterers, vendors, trespassers, and suspicious persons from the Property. e. Contact the Honolulu Police Department to assist in issuing trespass notices, if necessary; f. Respond to disturbances including initiating immediate notifications for assistance when law enforcement intervention is necessary; g. Cooperate and assist with law enforcement action and testifying in court if necessary; h. Detect, recognize, confiscate, and report dangerous items and objects such as firearms, weapons, devices, instruments, materials, or substances, whether animate or inanimate which when used or intended to be used is known to be capable of producing bodily injury, death, or destruction of property to law enforcement personnel; i. Detect and identify illegal contraband which a person is prohibited from obtaining or possessing such as intoxicating beverages or illegal drugs or intoxicating quantities of nonprescription legal drugs on the property. Smoking including ecigarettes is not permitted in or around the Property.
