Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for Parking Lot #1 replacement east of the Hoover Building on the State of Iowa’s capitol complex at 1305 E Walnut St. Des Moines, IA 50319; Construct improvements with best present day construction practices and equipment ; a) Contractor shall provide supervision of the work. b) Contractor shall provide protection of all property from injury or loss resulting from construction operations. c) Contractor shall replace or repair objects sustaining any such damage, injury, or loss, to the satisfaction of Owner and Engineer. d) Contractor shall cooperate with Owner, Engineer, and representatives of utilities in locating underground utility lines and structures. Incorrect, inaccurate, or inadequate information concerning location of utilities or structures shall not relieve the Contractor of responsibility for damage thereto caused by construction operations. e) Contractor shall keep cleanup current with construction operations. f) Contractor shall comply with all Federal, State of Iowa, and local laws and ordinances.
