This scope includes all the work for Tank A, 115,000-gallon ground storage tank (29’6” D x 29’6” H) and Tank B, 115,000-gallon ground storage tank (29’6” D x 29’6” H). If specific work needs to be completed for a specific tank it will be called out in the scope of work. o Set-Up • Owner to provide access to Electricity/Power and access to water source, within 250’ of the areas being washed. • Owner will provide access to the work area to provide the moving of materials & equipment to and from the work site. • Owner will provide parking close to the work site and away from the areas being worked on. o Surface Preparation • Remove all foam from outside the tanks including the sides and the top of the tank. • Sand – off the residue of what is left after removing the foam from the metal, sand smooth. • Hand tool all necessary areas to ensure all foam and debris are removed from the tanks. • Remove and treat any rust spots of the exterior and top of the tank that may be present after the foam removal. • Provide a large dumpster for the proper disposal of the foam that is removed from the tanks. • Provide a tarp or mesh cover to be placed over the top of the dumpster and means to secure the cover to the dumpster. This is to prevent demoed materials and debris from becoming a hazard to aircraft. • Pressure wash the entire top & sides of both tanks to remove dust & debris to prepare the tanks surface for primer & paint. • Cover with plastic, mask & protect surfaces not being painted. • Prime the tanks before applying paint. • Paint & Primer • Paint: Sherwin Williams Sher-Cryl HPA-Acrylic-Semi-Gloss • Primer: Sherwin Williams Pro-Cryl Metal Primer
