Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bid Item 1 shall include all necessary equipment, operators, laborers, and tools to perform snow clearing on Mountain Park/Robin Hill Service Area roads and shall be quoted on a fixed cost per mile for labor, materials, and equipment utilized within the Mountain Park/Robin Hill Service Area. The contractor shall monitor service area roads and commence snow clearing activities when four inches of snow has accumulated. The Service Area Administrator may also call for snow clearing at his/her discretion. Bid Item 2 shall include all necessary equipment, operators, laborers, and tools to provide road sanding services on Mountain Park/Robin Hill Service Area roads and shall be quoted on a per cubic yard spread-in-place basis and shall be paid on the quantity distributed within the service area. Bid Item 2 services will be “as requested” by the Service Area Administrator. Bid Items 3 and 6 shall include all necessary equipment, operators, laborers, and tools to provide steam thawing services, roadway vegetation maintenance, and miscellaneous labor on Mountain Park/Robin Hill Service Area roads and shall be quoted on a per hour basis and shall be paid on the hours the equipment is operating within the service area. The Contractor will be paid a minimum of two (2) hours for the equipment responding to callout unless the Contractor has been called out to redo work (in which case only actual work over and above the original work will be paid). Bid Items 4 and 5 shall include all necessary equipment, operators, laborers, and tools to provide sweeping and aggregate surface maintenance on Mountain Park/Robin Hill Service Area roads and shall be quoted on a per mile, or fraction thereof, basis and shall be paid on the equipment operating within the service area.
