Specifications include, but are not limited to: Weber County (“County”) is seeking proposals from well qualified and experienced contractors (“Proposer”) that can provide all services associated with constructing a new Weber/Morgan Children’s Justice Center (“CJC”), and all associated site improvements (“Project”). The new site for the CJC is at 1845 Jackson Avenue, in Ogden City, Utah and the preferred completion date for the Project is August 1st, 2024. The County, by means of a design-bid-build delivery method, is working with Sanders Associates Architects (SAA) to carry out this Project. As designed, the CJC will provide 19,021 ft2 of gross building area within a 12,919 ft2 main level footprint. It comprises lobby, reception, conference, training, interview, physical exam, and other general office space a-nd basic amenities. The building design also includes a garage, elevator, and specialized technology, equipment, and systems typically found in an investigative-type law enforcement facility.
