Specifications include, but are not limited to: SLCDPU is seeking qualified consultant design services for improvements to the Industrial Lift Station. The sewer lift station was originally constructed in the 1930’s. It is a below grade lift station with a concrete wet well and a concrete dry well that contains two pumps. Improvements to the lift station are required due to sewer overflows occurring when both lift station pumps run. The project will include structural, mechanical, and electrical improvements. Improvements currently identified include removing the existing superstructure and converting the facility to an outdoor lift station. The electrical equipment would be rated for the outdoors, new pumps and I&C equipment would be installed, and a hatch would be placed on the existing dry pit. The existing force main would be re-routed and replaced east along Industrial Circle and north along Industrial Road to improve operational reliability.
