Specifications include, but are not limited to: Items to be removed: 2- 6'x8' cylindrical treatment vessels, and the manganese greensand contained within; Aquamatic controller and associated control tubing; Approximately 80' of piping, consisting of cast, stainless, and PVC materials; 8- 4" butterfly valves; 10- 4" Aquamatic control valves. Replacement equipment is noted below, subject to review and approval by engineer. Items presented as "equivalent: will be considered but variations from the specifications must be detailed, and are subject to approval by the Senior Director of Facilities, Planning and IT; Vertical Pressure Filter System - Filter Vessels - Two (2) - 6;-0: OD x 70" striaght side Vertical Pressure units shall be furnishes. Vessels shall be designed and fabricated of SA-516 Grade 70 carbon steel in accordance with the ASME Code for a 100 psig working pressure (130 psig test psressure) and shall be so certified and stamped.
