Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1. All loops shall be installed under the asphalt and not cut in. 2.1.2. Bridges/Culverts shall be milled so that the existing deck is not damaged. Core depths provided for Fish Trap Bridge, see attachment D. 2.1.3. Pull a string or other method to ensure existing rutting/depressions are filled and the grade is maintained with smooth transitions onto and off the bridge deck. This may result in milling being less than 1.5 Inches to be determined by the contractor. 2.1.4. All roads shall be milled 1 1/2“and tacked and receive a 1.5” (165lbs) avg overlay of Superpave 12.5 traffic lvl C, PG76-22 2.1.5. Any potholes or depressions shall be filled and compacted prior to paving the roadway mainline. 2.1.6. Milled surfaces may be left for up to 24 hours as long as they do not exceed 1 mile in length, have appropriate markings for the traveling public, and have a smooth transition into and out of the milled area (minimum 6 ft transition). 2.1.7. Concrete work shall be completed prior to milling and resurfacing. 2.1.8. ADA upgrades shall be performed at locations shown on the plans and shall meet 2010 ADA guidelines 2.1.9. Any Asphalt repairs due to concrete work shall be performed with black base 12.5 and included in the MOT 102-1; no additional compensation shall be provided. 2.1.10. Restoration of striping to match Plan. If there is a conflict between plans and MUTCD and FDOT, FDOT prevails. 2.1.11. Driveways shall be cleaned of debris after the paving operation has been completed. 2.1.12. No feathered joints at driveways and/or roadway tie-ins. 2.1.13. Temp paint is incidental to the Thermoplastic installation. 2.1.14. Manholes and valve boxes may be adjusted with Metal rings as needed. 2.1.15. Millings from this project shall be property of the Vendor.
