Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, transportation, materials and incidentals for hauling and disposal of scrap tires from the Louisa County Landfill, located at 807 Moorefield Road, Mineral, VA 23117. B. The contractor shall provide a two containers/semi-trailers on site at the Louisa County Landfill with a minimum trailer length of forty-five (45) feet. C. Methods of disposal/recycling shall be in accordance with, but not limited to, Virginia Solid Waste Management Regulations, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Federal, state, and local policies and regulations. D. Any expense incurred for improper disposal/recycling shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor. The Contractor also agrees that the County shall assume no responsibility and no liability for any fines, fees, or legal actions as a consequence of the contractor improperly disposing of any of the tires received from this contract and that as tires are placed in the Contractor’s trailer, they immediately become the property of the Contractor.
