Specifications include, but are not limited to: The removal and replacement of street trees along the Dixie Highway corridor. For this phase, nine (9) mature tree will be removed twenty-two (22) trees planted. Species requested include: (2) American hornbeam; (2) kousa dogwood; (1) Amur maackia; (3) Redbud; (5) Chinese pistache; (5) Arnold buckeyes; (4) magnolias. Contractor has responsibility to: a. Furnish, transport and plant trees. b. Remove select trees and grind stumps. c. Reserve work space along streets. d. Contact 811 to mark utilities prior to planting. e. Mark tree planting sites. f. Excavate soil, plant trees, backfill and water. g. Furnish and place mulch. h. Remove excess material and clean-up site. i. Guarantee trees for one year and make appropriate replacement planting. j. Keep work site safe at all times. k. Any work incidental to above.
