Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. This item is the only one of its kind w/the unique proprietary designs that are not available from other C Arms. This item is only sold through the manufacturers distribution vendor. The smaller size of the CMOS Flat panel detector, the only battery operated C Arm, and significantly reduced radiation exposure to our faculty, due the proprietary light weight X ray generator is not found in any other C Arm device produced. This item is the also same used on actual patients by our in house surgeons as well as what they are using to train here in our Surgical Knowledge Integration Lab via the use of loaner Smart-C’s. Due to the different designs and specifications they require different techniques for proper use.
