Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of New Hampshire is seeking information from vendors who provide Storage Tank Cathodic Repair, Design, Testing, Reporting and Troubleshooting Services. These services may include but not be limited to the following: 1. Testing of underground storage tanks in accordance with NACE standard SP-0285-2011: Corrosion Control of Underground Storage Tanks systems and TM0101-2012: Measurement Techniques related to criteria for cathodic protection on underground or submerged metallic tank systems. 2. Reporting of storage tanks tested utilizing New Hampshire’s Dept. of Environmental Services’ Corrosion Protection Testing Form for Underground and Aboveground Storage Tanks or another representative form and include all items specified in RSA 146-C, Env-Or 406.07, and Env-Or 406.10. 3. Cathodic Protection System Design in accordance with NACE Standard Recommended Practice SP-0285-2011 Corrosion Control of Underground Storage Tanks by Cathodic Protection and SP0169-2013 Control of External Corrosion on Underground or Submerged Metallic Piping Systems, to include the following criteria: a. Total surface area to be protected, including tank, product piping, and vent piping materials b. Protective current requirement c. Soil resistivity d. Type and integrity of the coasting system e. Electrical isolations f. Presence of electrical currents from nearby sources 4. Cathodic System Repairs on underground storage tanks in accordance with Steel Tank Institute’s R-972 Recommended Practice for the Addition of Supplemental Anodes to STI-P3 USTs, The State is seeking feedback on the information in this RFI and will consider any information, including partial responses, received in response to this RFI. If the State moves forward in the development of an RFP/RFB. The bidding process will be open to all respondents regardless of their decision to participate in this RFI.
