Specifications include, but are not limited to: This work will be conducted in Obion and Dyer Counties in Tennessee. There will be one hole drilled in Obion County and one hole drilled in Dyer County. The work consists of drilling 1 bore hole in each county using the specified maps for each location. Each bore hole will be drilled to a depth of 300 feet and to not exceed a width of 8 inches using the Sonic method. The contractor will extract and collect all 300 feet of sample and return said sample to the Project Officer. No grouting of the core hole is necessary; however, the hole shall be backfilled with any available material extracted from the hole to the extent practicable and a solid cover (ex. a rock) placed over the hole entry for safety until the hole naturally backfills itself to prevent accidental injury. This work includes: • The mobilization, of the Contractor’s employees, equipment and materials; • Site access and maintenance using minimal impact methods; • Obtaining and returning core samples from each drill site; and 2 • Stabilization/reclamation with seed and straw of any area impacted in or around the drilling area.
