Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Security Service Requirements: a. One (1) Security Officer on-site at all times (except for Douglas County Holidays) See Attachment A as follows: Monday 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM Saturday 7:00AM to 5:30PM b. Bidders must provide Officers who are Certified and Trained in Firearm Use and Safety, and who are able to carry a holstered firearm when on duty. 2. Security Officer(s) must perform the following duties without limitation: a. Greet all persons entering the building and provide direction as needed to visitors, patients, customers, employees and/or vendors. b. Actively participate in all emergency preparedness drills. Security Officer(s) will be responsible to know and follow all current Douglas County Policies applicable to the specific emergency situation. c. Immediately report suspicious activity to the nearest Department Director d. Call 911 when appropriate e. Security Officer upon arrival will unlock front external door at opening in the morning and secure external doors upon closing f. Security Officer must be familiar with Panic Alarms promptly respond to Panic Alarms located within the Midtown campus building. The Security Officer will be responsible for re-setting Panic Alarms g. Security Officer shall escort employees and visitors to their vehicles after dark when requested h. Security Officer must view and operate the Building's camera system located at the security desk. Training will be offered and all the officers will need to participate in the training.
