Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Salt Festival will be held October 20-22, 2023, at Big Bone Lick State Historic Site. The Department of Parks is looking for sponsors to provide 3-4 bulk bins of small (pie) pumpkins, paint, and paint brushes for pumpkin painting, 15 large, square haybales, 15 round haybales, skid steerer rental for moving pallets of pumpkins and haybales, and miscellaneous fall décor (including large pumpkins, corn stalk bundles and assorted mums). Sponsors can also provide a monetary donation to help fund the purchase of the items listed above. After sponsors have been selected the Park will solicit quotes for the exhibit in accordance with KRS 45A. Activities will be conducted in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and guidance related to the protection of public health. Demonstrations may be cancelled if required by COVID related guidance. What the sponsor will receive for the investment: Sponsors will receive company name/logo on all printed and social media advertising, leading up to and during the Salt Festival. They will also have signs near the items requested for donation. For example, pumpkins received by donation will have a sign with the sponsors name/logo. The Department of Parks is looking for up to twenty-five (25) sponsors for this event.
