Specifications include, but are not limited to: The installation of new traffic control signal equipment and upgrade of equipment and roadway improvements along Glenville Road in Greenwich Connecticut, all as more particularly indicated, shown or described in the drawings, specifications and other contract documents and as described by the Engineer. The work to be done at these locations under various items include furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and services to construct complete traffic control signal installation and associated roadway work, but not limited to, cabinet and controller, removal and relocation of existing vehicle optical pre-emption, signal mast arms, pedestals, new signal heads, video detection, conduit, wire, concrete hand hole, new signs, sidewalks, curbing, roadway restoration and pavement markings. The work also entails the adjustment to utility structures to finish grade, and all else necessary and incidental thereto in accordance with the construction plans and these specifications. Furthermore, the work includes maintenance and protection of traffic during construction and the maintenance of vehicular and pedestrian access to abutting properties and, unless otherwise directed by the Engineer, uninterrupted and acceptable operation at all times.
