Specifications include, but are not limited to: The guard will patrol the perimeters of the buildings on foot as well as the parking areas for employees for the locations. 4.2.1. The following holidays are not included: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or any other days designated by the Governor for the closing of State offices. 4.2.2. The Contractor shall manage staffing so that individuals are not working overtime as overtime generally will not be approved by KDOR. Should extreme circumstances result in the approval of overtime, the OT rate to the Contractor shall be no more than a factor of 1.4 per hour. 4.2.3. The Contractor must provide the required Tax Clearance documents. 4.2.4. Security Guards may be moved to different locations as needed should an issue arise. The Contractor would need to have the ability to add additional guards, locations, services or change service based on the needs of KDOR. 4.2.5. Security Guards may be terminated at any location at any time due to non-performance, location closure, or other determination made by KDOR. KDOR also may request additional Security Guards and add Security Guards to additional locations as needed during the contract period per the agreement of both parties.
