Composition of all material shall be best available heavy duty and commercial grade only. Product must not contain any soluble materials or organic substances in quantities that are capable of producing deleterious or is injurious to public health. Liquid per delivery volume must be specified in pounds. Solution must conform to American Water works Association (AWWA) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) 60 requirements. Product is regulated as a DOT Hazardous Material and shall be handled according to regulations. Service. Contractor shall deliver product via tanker truck and off-load into stationary tanks located at the Tres Rios Water Treatment Facility (WTF) Building 52B. Product is stored in two (2) double-walled 6,000 gallon chemical holding tanks with a containment area. Contractor is responsible for providing the correct hoses and proper fittings for delivery. Off-loading requires a 3-inch female camlock fitting. Contractor must provide an SDS with each delivery. Product will not be accepted without required documentation. Average load is 45,000 pounds (4,000 gallons), and specific gravity is 1.35 at 40% solution. Deliveries shall be made as needed, or approximately one to two times per week.
