Specifications include, but are not limited to: The winning offeror must be responsible for the sale of surplus aircraft parts and aircraft specific ground support accessories at various locations. This must include picking up and positive control, inventorying, cleaning, inspecting, photographing, and selling of these items on a widely viewed and reputable web-based marketplace. Interested offerors must have appropriate FAA DAR-F and A&P certification to inspect and tag airworthy parts for return to service. Any parts that are deemed non-airworthy must be further evaluated for value based on overhaul/repair cost and disposed of publicly accessible auctions. Airworthiness of the items is mostly unknown until FAA 8130 or equivalent return to service documentation are evaluated. All offerors submitting proposals will be evaluated based on the Components listed below. All offerors must list the component for which they are proposing. Component 1 – Aircraft Component 2 - Engines Component 3 - Wings Component 4 - Empennage Component 5 – Fasteners & Hardware Component 6 – Avionics Component 7 – Fuel Systems Component 8 – Controls Component 9 – Fuselage Component 10 – Electrical Component 11 – Instruments Component 12 – Landing Gear Component 13 – Propellers Component 14 – Airframe Component 15 – Flight Control Surfaces There are 15 Components that will each be awarded as listed above. Interested offerors may submit a proposal for any or all of the Components listed in the Scope of Work above. Offerors must clearly identify in their proposal the component(s) they are offering on. More than one component may be awarded to a potential offeror if they submit a proposal on multiple components and have the highest score in each component.
