Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Nevada is seeking to retain outside counsel on a contingent fee basis (“Special Contractor”) to provide legal services to the State of Nevada through its Attorney General by and through the Office of the Nevada Attorney General, Bureau of Consumer Protection, and Consumer Advocate (collectively as the “Bureau of Consumer Protection” or “Attorney General”) to assist in the investigation and litigation involving the impacts, risks, and harms to the State of Nevada and its residents by social media platforms (“SMP” or “SMPs”), and related claims or causes of action (collectively the “SMP Litigation”). The term “Attorney General” as used herein, shall include his deputy designee and the Consumer Advocate.
